Khadejah Artis (she/her)
Khadejah Artis is the Founder and Executive Director of Charm City Education. She is also a Special Education teacher and Literacy Coach in Baltimore City. She started her career in Washington, DC, where she taught middle school Reading Intervention for over a decade. She is skilled in the science of reading, culturally-responsive teaching, and technology integration. Aside from education, she's a wife, dog and cat mom, hip hop head, and amateur nail artist.

Binyamin Agular (he/him)
Binyamin Agular is a dedicated educator at the Talmudical Academy of Baltimore, where he teaches both general and special education. With over 15 years of experience, he brings a passion for creative learning. Binyamin enjoys curiosity, questioning, collaborative exploration, and turning tough problems into amazing solutions.

Latrecia Burgess (she/her)
Latrecia Burgess is a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher with more than a decade of experience helping students thrive. She has a deep passion for reading intervention and takes great joy in guiding young learners toward greater confidence and success. Her career has taken her around the world, giving her the opportunity to teach internationally and connect with students from diverse backgrounds. A lifelong learner at heart, Latrecia finds happiness in cooking, traveling, painting, and spending cherished time with her family.

Brittany Anderson (she/her)
Mrs. Brittany Anderson is a passionate educator with almost 13 years of experience. Her experience comes from having taught in private, public schools and charter schools ranging from 1st grade to adult education. She has also worked as an instructional coach and a school administrator. Her passion for teaching students mathematics and watching them grow shines through in her work.

Irma Kittrell (she/her)
Mrs. K believes every student has greatness inside them and is here to help you discover yours. She’s worked with all kinds of learners and knows how important it is to feel seen, safe, and supported. As a proud mom of two daughters a rising 5th grader and a soon-to-be high schooler she understands learning from both a teacher and parent view. She brings energy, creativity, and care to everything she teaches, making learning fun, meaningful, and full of possibility. Let’s dream big and make learning work for you!

Latoya Knighten (she/her)
Latoya Knighten is an accomplished instructional leader with more than 18 years of experience in Baltimore City Public Schools. She has served as a classroom teacher, mentor, lead teacher, and educational associate, and is passionate about helping teachers and students grow through coaching, data-informed instruction, and student-centered planning. Latoya holds multiple advanced certifications in early childhood education and school administration, and brings a strategic lens to every project she supports.

Sherla Laville (she/her)
Sherla Laville is an Academic Interventionist specializing in executive functioning and reading support, with over two decades of experience in education. She is skilled in science of reading strategies and has served as a data coach, classroom teacher, teacher mentor, and instructional coach. Her career spans public and private schools in Washington, DC, New York City, and Maryland, where she has helped students and educators grow through evidence-based, student-centered practices. Outside of work, she’s a wife, mother of two sons, dog lover, hobby horticulturalist, fitness enthusiast, and avid reader of historical and cultural literature.

Daryl Walsh (he/him)
Daryl Walsh has taught English for over 30 years in Baltimore City and County public schools and private schools in Lancaster, PA, and Severna Park, MD. Focusing on the middle grades, 6-8, he is dedicated to helping students become better readers. He is a husband, father of three daughters, and still an avid ultimate frisbee player.
